When installing a free app on the App Store, we are sure that many of you see a popup message from the App Store saying: Verification Required. So, before you can make purchases, you need to tap on Continue to verify your payment info. The message comes from the credit card, which you previously added to the App Store and iTunes Stores that might have expired. So, the message “Verification Required” will appear. In this post, we’ll show you a simple fix for this issue. It requires you to follow a few easy steps in your iPhone.
Step 1: Launch the Settings App on your iPhone Related Read:iMyFone recover deleted text messages iPhone without backup
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on iTunes and App Store.
Step 3: Here there will have four options, including View Apple ID, Sign Out, iForgot, and Cancel.
Step 4: Choose View Apple ID.
Step 5: A Sign-in Required window will now appear. Simply enter your password.
Step 6: Your account information window will now open.
Step 7: Tap Payment information.
Step 8: There are now four options in the Payment Type: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, None. Simply choose the None option.
Hopefully, doing this way will solve the “Verification Required” message when you download free apps. However, some users have recently said that they don’t see the “None” option in the Payment Type. This might disappear if the Family Sharing Option is enabled. However, you can easily change payment type with the help of iTunes.
